Ronnie Furr: Bio

Ronnie Furr and Terri traveling the "Country"

Ronnie and Terri have been traveling around the country in their fifth wheel trailer sharing their original
music and a lot of good old favorites with thousands of country fans. Ronnie has two cds of original songs
he has written and played many of the instruments, "If You Snooze, You Lose" and "Are We Havin' Fun Yet?".
Ronnie plays the acoustic guitar, drums, bass and keyboard at this time, but is working on a number of
other instruments. When Ronnie performs, he sings and plays the acoustic guitar while he strolls through
the crowd wireless getting people to enjoy his friendly personality and Terri works hard on keeping the
audience envolved. They have been on tour full time since June of 2005, they headed to Nashville to record
"Money Talks" their third CD and a Gospel CD. While in Nashville they performed on stage with many
Nashville musicians.

After finishing the recordings, they headed back to Oklahoma for their new CD release. They were book-
ed at the 2005 Tulsa State Fair for the entire duration. Performing everyday three times a day gave them an
opportunity to play for thousands of fair goers. They had a booth in the Expo building where they sold CDs,
t-shirts, hats, cups and koozies. Being in their home town gave them a chance to catch up on family matters.

In the middle of October 2005, they hooked up the fifth wheel and off they traveled to the Rio Grande Valley
in south Texas. There, Ronnie and Terri worked for the first winter season November 2005-March 2006 playing
their music for a number of RV parks. As they drove the highways and byways of the Valley picking up new
fans along the way. Terri even started a group of helpers, she calls the "Ronnie's Rowdy Roadies". Their roadies
help them to break down their equipment at the end of the performance and pack it into their Dodge pick-up truck.
Their help is a great benefit and gives Ronnie and Terri a chance to visit and autograph their CDs for other
audience members. This was a wonderful winter for them.

In April, 2006 their plans carried them to Branson, MO where they performed at the Grand Jubilee Theater,
the Wells Theater, B.T. Bones restaurant, Treasure Lake RV Park and many others. After a short stay in Branson
they moved on to a new location.

On the road again traveling through to Oklahoma for their second performance at the Green Corn Festival in
June of 2006. They put on a great show by the gazebo for a large crowd. Everyone enjoyed Ronnie and Terri
singing and dancing on a beautiful Saturday afternoon. The guest brought their lawn chairs and enjoyed the day.
Ronnie and Terri love coming home to be with family and friends and thank the town of Bixby for the gig.

Once again, they're off to a new destination for the remainder of the summer. Ronnie and Terri found a
beautiful location to play their music. They landed in Estes Park, Colorado where the mountains are big and
the elk run free. As they settled in and looked for venues to perform they happened into one of the friendliest
rodeos around. Terri managed to get Ronnie booked to perform every night as their opening act for the Rooftop
Rodeo. Not only did they play for the rodeo, but also for many other venues in the surrounding area. While in
Estes Park, Ronnie and Terri were able to take advantage of the scenery and produce their first DVD "High On
Colorado". With the help and expertise of Road Runner Videos, owner Danny Dodge, they were blessed with a
great video. The footage was shot partially on the Big Thompson River and through out the beautiful mountains
as well as a number of venues where Ronnie and Terri performed. What a great summer in turned out to be for
them. They loved the people in Colorado and the weather was delightful.

Their next stop was a short one, but necessary to record their forth country CD "Everytime". Nashville has
become a favorite stop of Ronnie and Terri's for more than one reason. As they know to be in th music business
Nashville is a great place to get the job done. Ronnie was very lucky to have contact with some very talented
musicians and production studio. The hard work and diligence of Mike Schrimpf with SMS Studio, made it
possible for them to get their new CD ready for the next big show.

At the end of September 2006, they were going back to Oklahoma for the Tulsa State Fair for their second
performance to release their newest CD and DVD. They got a warm welcome from their family and friends
as well as the weather. They were enjoying the 70' tempertures and no humidity in Colorada, then down to
Oklahoma where the humidity was high and the temperture were too. It was one of Tulsa's hottest Fairs. The
night they performed the themometer read 92' at 7pm that evening. But, even under those conditions they gave
a wonderful performance and had lots of listeners. Ronnie performed at the Beer Garden both 7pm and 9pm that
evening.

Before going back to south Texas for their 2006-07 winter tour they stopped at Shawnee, OK to perform to
hundreds of fans at the Oklahoma Fall Samboree. This was their second time to play for the Samboree. The
first time was at Claremore in 2005. Both experiences were grand, thanks to John and Fern Gallagher.

The second winter season 2006-07 in the Rio Grand Valley started off with a bang at the park where Ronnie
and Terri resided in Harlingen, Texas. The first performance was like a family reunion with all their friends
dancing and have a great time talking about what they have been doing since the last time they were together.
The rest of the time in the valley continued to get even better. The heavy schedule of 89 bookings in a five
month span with very few days off, made it great to be in Texas. After their last season they gained a lot of
followers and anticipate it to keep growing.

Ronnie and Terri head north to a small town called Perrin, Texas for a week long gig. They were booked
for the FMCA Singles Rally to be the dance band for the rally. Ronnie and Terri were excited to find so many
nice folks and great dancers. The group had fun visiting, eating, playing and dancing, they really know how to
throw a party.

After leaving Texas at the end of April 2007, Ronnie and Terri stopped in at their home town of Tulsa for a
few weeks, then back to work they went. Terri booked them back in Estes Park, Colorado fot the summer. They
played the same venues as the summer before as well as a few new ones. Terri was able to get them booked
again for the Rooftop Rodeo as the opening entertainment. The best part about this location is the beautiful view
they get to enjoy while working. It is always great to return and see friends and fans they have aquired.

The couple were scheduled to leave the mountains and return to their home state for a short stay with one stop
on the way. Sarcoxie, Missouri booked them for their Chief Sarcoxie Festival Days which would have been nice
if it hadn't poured down rain and caused them to cancel the show. With performing outside it is always a good
thing to get a little help from the weather.

Ronnie and Terri were anxiously awaiting their return to the Rio Grande Valley. Where they enjoy playing for
many RV parks and seeing all their friends. The Valley has become a second home for them. Ronnie enjoys
having all the help from his roadies and Terri loves all the dancing she gets to do. This being their third season
in the Valley they have had the chance to build a nice group of people that follow them around to different per-
formances. Ronnie and Terri have two kinds of shows. One of their shows consist of an hour where Ronnie sings
while playing a number of instruments, such as the keyboard, lap steel and acoustic guitar. While, Terri accompanies
him with her acoustic guitar and keeps the audience involved with her stories and dancing. The other type of per-
formance they do is putting on a three hour dance where you can shuffle, cha-cha, two-step, line dance, or even
waltz across Texas with them. Their schedule becomes very heavy during the month of January and February
when a lot of Winter Texans are in the Valley.

On the way out of Texas April 2008, Ronnie and Terri will be making a stop in Bandera, Texas where they will
join the FMCA Singles Rally to reunite with the group.

Their future plans are to pull into Tennesse sometime in May 2008, for six month stay. While in Nashville,
Ronnie will be working on three new CDs. He has a number of original country tunes for his CD called
"Forever Blue" and Ronnie will also, be adding a Christmas CD and even a new Gospel CD.

Ronnie has finely found the support he needs eo make his music come to life. When he found his loving bride
Terri, with her enthusiasm and encouragement together they will make it work. What a great opportunity they
have traveling around seeing the world and giving lots of country fans a taste of their original music. To see Ronnie
and Terri performing together is like looking through "Rose Colored Glasses".

Ronnie Furr - Singer/Songwriter/Acoustic Guitar/Piano/Drums/Bass

When it comes to music and entertaining, Ronnie is well known for his excitement onstage. He started singing at 13 with the Boys Glee Club where he quickly became president. His teacher was impressed with his ability to sing all four parts: bass, baritone, alto and soprano. Ronnie learned his love of singing from his parents and performing in Christmas programs at school. All of this helped develop and shape his interest in the music business.

He joined the Army at the age of 17. There he met a fellow G.I. who helped him learn the acoustic guitar. He started with three simple songs. After his discharge, he played rhythm guitar and was the lead singer for a group called “Silver Eagle Band.” The band played country music in many Tulsa area clubs, including Duke’s Country, Cowboys, and Top Hat in Cleveland. While the band was together, they won second place and $1000 in a Marlboro contest and opened for George Strait, Eddie Raven, Moe Bandy, Atlanta, Hank Thompson, Razzy Bailey and others. The band played together for some time while trying to break into the recording business.

Later he became a part of “Moonshine Express,” which played in Tulsa and Kansas City. After a short time, he moved to a new band called “Oklahoma Bad Lands” then to “Exit 244 Band.” This band had the privilege of opening for talent such as Mel McDaniel. After much consideration and no progress to stardom, Ronnie was told “If you want to make it in this business, you have to do original material.” With this in mind, he started working as a carpenter all over Chicago, Nevada and California, taking time to write enough originals to produce two CDs.

From the beginning, he was able to create his own style of country music starting with a tune and a hook line. Ronnie not only wrote the lyrics and music with a little help from his friends, he also developed the graphics and packaging for two CDs. The first was completed in 1990 and includes tunes such as “If you snooze, you lose,” “No deposit, no return,” “D.U.I,” and others. In 2001, he finished his second CD with tunes including “Are we having fun yet?” “Love times two” and “It takes two to two step”.

Ronnie has been playing as a solo act in the Tulsa area and performing original material. He plays in clubs including Westbound, Jack of Clubs, Action Lounge, Bobbisox, American Legion and restaurants such as Western Country Diner, Cafe USA, and Golden Saddle BBQ. He has performed for the United Way celebration, The Human Society, Catoosa Liberty Festival, Green Corn Festival, family reunions, company parties, private organizations and The Tulsa State Fair. Ronnie enjoys playing for all ages. Ronnie says, "If they like country music, they're my kind of people."

While in Nashville on his honeymoon in September of 2003, at the encouragement of his manager and wife Terri. Ronnie entered the Nashville Palace Talent Contest where he won the first and final rounds of competition. For the Grand Prize Ronnie was showcased for the evening with the Steve Hill Nashville Band.

The Tulsa World nominated Ronnie for the Top Country Act of the year 2004 for their special Spotnik Awards. The competition was steep with acts such as Western Justice, Thomas Martinez & New Frontier, Darrel Cole & New Country Revolution, Round Up Boys & Sidewinder. Although, Ronnie was a very close runner-up, he didn’t win this years award, but he was privileges to be a presenter at the award ceremony.

Recently, Ronnie and Terri have moved to Nashville to further their music career. Ronnie is recording his third CD while in Nashville. His plans are to have it released during this years Tulsa State Fair in September of 2005. You can also, look on his website for the schedule of shows to come.

Ronnie has had the opportunity to sing while in Nashville on famous stages such as the Bluebird Cafe, Nashville Nightlife, the French Quarters, Legend Corner, Second Fiddle, The Stage, Douglas Corner Cafe and Two Rivers Campground. We are working hard to hit them all.
